This is an extrodianarily beautiful set that I loved for years- I just don't have room for them any longer. Now, the rim around the seat was originally chrome plated, however please notice the last photo, becuase the rim is solid brass. Please notice the brass foot rest, the enameled stand, the oak seat and the brass rim around the seat. In order to used these as stools they must be bolted to the floor.
